Wealthy Affiliate Reviews
I’ve already made my own review of Wealthy Affiliate University but why am I doing this new review once again? Well, I have a client (a fellow WA member) whom I am writing articles about internet marketing so I tried to look for some other Wealthy Affiliate reviews just to check on some others’ voices about this university. There are bunch of reviews I saw in google but there is this review that caught my attention. It is a review made by Matt (don’t know his family name) in his site. This is actually what I wanted to talk about through out this article.
Why is Matt’s Review is so Interesting?
So why do I have to bother talking about this guy’s review of WA here? Well, for only one reason – he says “Wealthy Affiliate sucks!” So as a WA member, I got intrigued why he say so. I then read his article and this is basically my response to all the things he said…
Review of Matt’s Wealthy Affiliate Review
First off, I don’t have any personal issues about this guy. In fact, I really appreciate his SEO work in making his article rank well in google. I have to respect his honest review about WA as well because of course, that is based on his personal experience. People have different experiences though and I think mine is far different from his. Let us then take a look at the things he mentioned and let me say my feedback to them.
1. $47 gone up to $97 and no money back guarantee
I don’t know that WA price has gone from $47 to $97. I do know however that WA has two prices – Gold membership is $47 and Platinum is $97. I think he needs to rephrase how he said that.
About the no money back guarantee and no free trial thing, I admit that’s one of the downsides of WA. Of course as someone who is enjoying the benefits of WA membership, I don’t think it’s a downside for me. I understand however that those who are still looking at the features of this program can be skeptical about joining because of that.
Having a free trial is not always a good thing though. If I availed on a program and I had it for free, I may not be able to take it seriously since I didn’t pay anything. Since I paid $47 when I first joined Wealthy Affiliate however, I really had all my time and effort not to be wasted because I had to make the most out of the money I paid. I can say that my $47 payment is really worth it contrary to what this guy said that he only learned few things inside. Well, I don’t know if what this guy has been doing when he was there.
2. Poor and disorganized WA training
During my first month, I had my success in 30 days training and I don’t think it is poor and disorganized. I actually enjoyed doing my daily tasks and I really learned a lot.
I admit though that some of the training lessons are not so organized. You will also be overwhelmed and confused a bit when you are still new (but being there for quite some time now, it’s no longer a problem to me). Well, Kyle (one of the WA owners) saw this problem already so they worked on it to make the training better.
I also don’t think the training inside is poor. In fact it is where I am getting all the latest SEO updates and other online business opportunities that I do today. I treasure all those lessons specially the webinars.
3. Second rate tools
Using the WA keyword tool as he said, how can you say it is second rate having the monthly searches, estimated traffic, website quotes, competition, article power, PPC power, and you can even spy and dig more for every keyword you are researching?
As for the hosting, I know that some members are complaining about the plesk because they say that cpanel is better. As someone who is not so much into programming though, it’s not so much a concern to me. I can now host unlimited websites and they all run very well.
4. Positive Wealthy Affiliate reviews are made to sell Wealthy Affiliate
Well, this is the part that I totally disagree with him. He said that other reviews are only saying that WA is good for them to refer people inside and make some money. Well, that’s not true! In fact if you read Raymond Selda’s review on WA, he even mentioned some “not so good points” about WA. The same is true with Steve’s and other reviews.
I am promoting WA myself but I can say that I’m not saying that it is good just for me to make a sale. If you come here to my site, I am even offering free lessons to anyone who wants to start internet marketing. I’m just recommending people to WA if they want to get more serious into learning and doing online business. I do so because I myself is having a good time inside. And I’m staying inside WA not just to promote WA. In fact, this is the only internet marketing site I have that promotes WA. My other sites are about video production, movies, web content services, and more. So even if I don’t have this site promoting WA, I can still do internet marketing and I will still stay at WA.
5. PPC is the only good lesson inside WA
I’m not even so much into PPC things and therefore I haven’t done any PPC thing that WA teaches. However, I was able to rank well in the search engine using the quality SEO lessons I learned from WA. So even without the PPC lesson inside, WA lessons still rock!
6. Keyword Academy being better
After tearing down Wealthy Affiliate, he then said that Keyword Academy is better since it is cheaper and it has one month trial. I then looked at it and I agree that is is cheaper. And to know the quality of the training, I also enrolled into the program’s free trial.
When I was then inside, I can say that I admire the style of teaching the owner applies. It is really interesting and I appreciate him to that. I haven’t finish all the lessons yet but I can say that the content of the training is almost the same with the first training I got from WA. The method of teaching is the only difference I think.
As for me Wealthy Affiliate is Great!
As I said, his experience might be different from mine because what works for some might not work for others. It’s just a matter of personal preferences. As for me, I’m enjoying at Wealthy Affiliate and I’ll stay inside!
P.S. I left a comment to the guys article but he is still not approving it…
